I know there's not really any advice to give, or at least, I don't think there is, but here goes.
So, I went to homecoming with one of my good friends this past October, and we had a great time, but I didn't really think anything of it, because we went as friends. She had just broken up with one of the people in our friend group a week earlier and the person i asked flaked out on me so we were just gonna go as friends, and we had a great time. Nothing was bad about that.
BUT, since then, I've kind of developed a little thing for her thats lasted about a month or so now, and I really like her at the moment, and it's always "the one" when you're in that mood, but like i just said, she's "the one" right now.
So i've been keeping it bottled up for a while now, haven't told anyone, and i NEEDED to tell someone, so I told her best friend who is also my good friend, how I liked her and didn't know what to do because i didn't know if she liked me, how the friend circle would feel about it, and how her ex-boyfriend would feel about it, because he still hangs out with all of us and they're on good terms (not to mention he holds the national record for benching in his division), and he's nice, but I don't really think you're supposed to date your friends' ex girlfriends.
She basically said "i don't think he would like that very much" and i'm like "the situation really sucks you know?" and she said "I wish there was a better solution. i really do" or something to that effect. So now I'm stuck hiding my feelings because I don't want to piss off/get hurt by the ex boyfriend even though we've been pretty good friends for 7 years now. Not to mention, I don't even know if the girl likes me, I don't think so otherwise our mutual friend might've hinted at something at least. Also, every single thing I've ever attempted with women has failed, so why should this be any different?
I'm just really sick of bad things happening every time I like someone, the repetition is sickening.
Thought I'd vent somewhere, but didn't really have anywhere to do it but here..
To me!!!
This is the 2 year anniversary of my signing up on newgrounds, and contains my 2000th post.
Oh, what a glorious day this is.
On Newgrounds.
For one spam thread?
Alright, I can deal, considering the BBS isn't the all important pivotal factor of my life, but it seems like EyeLovePoozy has nothing better to do than go HEY I CAN BAN PEOPLE FOR AS LONG AS I WANT.
Usually spam thread banning is like 1 or 2 days, not 5.
I know I deserved the ban, but I don't think I deserved 5 days.
Hey, maybe now I can actually be productive this week though..
And I don't even know her name.
She works at the local drug store, and she is the nicest most beautiful person of all time.
Too bad she's like 3 or 4 years older than me, and I'll never know who she is or what she's like.. :(
Oh well.
Let's just get this out of the way, I have never had a girlfriend.
I've never kissed a girl.
I've hugged many girls, but not like romantically.
So this just happened today.
I made a nine piece square puzzle that when put together, had a monster thing saying "Go Outside".
I left it on my good friend's (who I like) doorstep and ding-dong-ditched her.
I then waited outside with some flowers and my guitar.
She came out after a few minutes, and I started to play "Question" by The OLd 97's.
I totally forgot all the lyrics, but she thought it was cute.
Anyways, I got a date to homecoming! I'm so excited, I've never even gone on like a romantic date.
I've hung out with her just us 2 before, but it was just like friends.
So, anyways, I was talking to a mutual friend of ours, and she said that my "crush" had come over earlier. Well apparently, she is really excited about it, which means I'm not the only one :3
I'm so excited, I thought she just said yes to be nice at first, but after talking to some people, I am really happy and excited.
So yeah, none of you probably care about all this, but I've liked her since like April, so I'm pretty much SUPER HAPPY.
I feel like telling every single person in the world how much I adore her right now.
THEN GUESS WHAT HAPPENED?!?1?
She changed her mind.
She just called me down to a meeting point a few hours ago.
She said she felt like she was leading me on, and really loved me as a friend, but didn't feel the same, and therefor didn't want to be in effect lying to me, even though we totally could have just gone as friends.
I feel the most shitty I have felt in a very long time.
FML.

Let's watch a movie together :)
--SPOILER ALERTS--
If you haven't read the book or seen the movie, turn back, unless you don't care.
Personally, I was really disappointed with the 5th one, so going in to #6, I was concerned that it was going to be terrible. Honestly, I don't know what the director changed, but he certainly changed the right things, because I thought this was the best HP movie in the series. The 1st was definitely good just because it was the 1st, and it was a new experience, while the second was relievingly well done, considering most sequels are bad. The third was okay, but a bit forgetful, as it doesn't really stand out to me. The 4th is my favorite book, so personally, the movie was pretty good to me, but like the 5th, they left out quite a bit. The 5th was absolutely disgusting, a disappointment of a movie, the only good part was the fight at the end. I just did not like it. The 6th one was a VERY nice pickmeup from that, and I absolutely loved it.
The cinematography was really nice, I notice this sort of stuff because I took a video production class, and I noticed a lot of shoddy work in the fifth one, but they had some interesting stuff in the 6th one, along with a few shots using some sort of different film or filter, because they were kind of out of focus, but in a purposeful way. There were a few iconic striking shots in this film, which I appreciated. One shot I really enjoyed is when Harry is chasing after Snape near the end, and it just shows them on either side of the screen while they just look at eachother, it was well done. And they had some really nice closeups as well. On the other end of the spectrum, I thought it was a bit simple, as I do with all films, because most movies and TV shows have a fairly simple shot system going on, whereas I like a more complex set of editing and shots (check out my video groups films at http://www.youtube.com/spagneti for clarification.) So it's not JUST this movie, but still, I'm not enthralled with the variety here.
As for the story, I thought it made a good similarity to the book. They took a few artistic licenses with some parts, for example, when they are at The Burrow, but they still end up with the same outcome. Also, I found that they kept far more of the content in the book than the 5th, and while they still left some things out, I felt they kept enough in this time. Some things would have been good to keep the same though, because at the end, it seemed a bit off since Harry wasn't actually stunned, and that he saw Snape before IT happened, but like I said, same outcome, so not a huge deal.
Overall, I liked this movie quite a bit, and would recommend it to anybody who's interested in Harry Potter, fantasy, science fiction, or action movies. I give it a 9/10.
